On-site Generation                                                                                                                                      

Some Industrial and Commercial customers have their own on-site generation. On-site generation, or auto-production, is where an energy consumer installs a generation facility at the same physical location as their demand. The electricity generated is used to power its own premises first and in some cases any excess power is spilled to the grid creating an income stream. 

Flogas Enterprise provides an attractive solution via a monthly invoice to facilitate both the supply of electricity required from the grid and also payment for the times the generator exports excess power to the grid.

Corporate PPAs (CPPAs)

A Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a long-term contract under which a business agrees to purchase electricity directly from an energy generator. Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs) will play a key role in Ireland’s energy transition to 2030. Flogas Enterprise has been supplying solar solutions to industrial and commercial customers in Ireland since 2020.  For example a customer of Flogas Enterprise has seen savings of €70,975 from 408 MWh from behind the meter solar, over a 12-month period, with a very impressive unit rate from the solar generation of €174/MWh.
